You know when you watch these cooks on TV how their recipes always turn out right?  Mine never does.  I have spent countless attempts and trying to recreate some of these delicious recipes on TV only to have them miss the mark.

I decided to try a new recipe an Easy Coffee Cake recipe and it was delicious !!!!!  It worked.  This did not turn out like I thought it would, it turned out even better.  Even my kids who are the most picky eaters in the world loved it.

I took two cans of crescent rolls, two packages of cream cheese, 1 cup of sugar and 1 Egg and 1 Tsp vanilla.

You take the first package of rolls and spread them on the bottom of a 9 X 13" pan, blend the cream cheese, Egg yolk and 3/4 of the sugar together with the vanilla and spread over the first layer of rolls.  Then place the second layer on and beat the egg white and remaining sugar together sprinkle over the top of the rolls and add some crushed pecans or whatever kind of nuts you like and bake 350 for 35 minutes.  The result, EASY and DELICIOUS !!!!

Adam wants more so it looks like I will have to make a trip to Wal-Mart today to get some more ingredients.  One of the greatest joys is being able to prepare food for your family and to have them enjoy it.
