I can not believe it has almost been a week since I last posted.  Things have been extremely busy lately.  The kids have been enjoying their summer and I have been working and preparing for school.

Each day Adam amazes me.  He continues to do things that the Doctors said he would never be able to do.  I have learned that Medical is not an exact science because Adam has exceeded everyone's expectations.  We have been working on manners lately and he is getting the hang of it.  At wal-mart the other day he told the Cashier "Thank you very much" .

My brother in law and Sister in law gave us one of the best gifts any one could ever give, a swimming pool for the kids and they have been in it daily now !  They love the pool.  It has a slide built in it and they beg us from the time they get up to the time they go to bed to play in it.  So we have learned to use it to barter with the kids to do their chores (pick up their toys) etc....even to clean their plates.  We are very grateful for this gift.   For Christmas they bought Adam this guitar that makes a lot of noise and Adam would get up in the wee hours of the morning trying to be Carlos Santana and I am grateful that this pool has taken his mind off the guitar.  I thought that maybe for Christmas I would buy their daughter a drum set :)  no I would not do that but I did think about it, LOL !

It was so hot today Adam goes come on Daddy get in the pool and I almost did it.  But I was having too much fun watching the kids laughing and playing and having a great time.  Abigail said that she wants me to put the pool in the house.  I told her I think we will pass on that one.
