Decisions 07/13/2010

Decisions.  I hate them.  I hate making them.

If faced with an opportunity that could eventually be quite rewarding do we move to take that opportunity or do we just let it slip by?

I have learned that when you are content you are not growing, sometimes you become stagnant and then you lose your fire.  I do not want to let the fire die out.

I have an opportunity to continue pursuing my dreams with education that will take us into a new area, a new life and new beginnings and it is something that I am contemplating.  When I look at my family I want to know that I have provided the best life possible for my children and wife and for everyone.  I want to live a life of no regrets where I can look back someday and say I did it and turned out better because of it.

But even before I make these kind of decisions the most important thing is what does God say about it?  What does God's Word say about it.  The one thing I have learned in life is that if you don't include God in your decisions you are going to fail.  It may work at first but ultimately it will fail.

So for now my first priority is seeking God in this situation and finding out what He has to say before I make any decisions.  Then and only then will I know  that my paths will be directed and that God goes before me making all my ways straight.....

Many blessings ~  J
